Research Fellow (Sediment transport)
The Research Fellow will conduct research in the field of coastal dynamics, with a focus on sediment transport and its coupling with soil responses. The project aims to advance nearshore hydrodynamic modelling by integrating hydrodynamic, morphological, and geotechnical model.
The successful candidate will work on developing and improving CFD modelling. The research may involve observational and experimental approaches.
Job Requirements
- Possess a PhD in related field such as coastal and ocean engineering with research experience.
- Candidates with experience and knowledge in numerical modelling, hydrodynamics, sediment transport, and CFD are encouraged to apply.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Strong quantitative skills.
- Having a good publication record is advantageous.
- Open to fixed-term contract.
