"Research Project Assistant"

Position Summary

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Research Project Assistant for Alcohol & Substance Use Studies. This position will participate in several federally funded addiction and trauma research projects.

Among the key duties of the position are the following:

• Subjects recruitment, community engagement, and coordination of study visits.
• Assists the principal investigator in preparing regulatory documentation for the institutional review board and funding agencies.
• Trains new research staff and students.
• Provides general administrative support (e.g., ordering supplies, record keeping).
• Data management and analysis.
• Performs literature reviews.
• Assists with preparation of grant proposals and research dissemination

Minimum Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a related scientific field, including psychology, neuropsychology, neuroscience, and public health.
