Research Project Coordinator - School of Public Health
Position Summary
Manages day-to-day research activities, including data collection, quality control, analysis, presentation of study findings, and budgetary oversight. Supports grant-writing activities to secure additional funding for future related work.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manages the day-to-day activities of the study, including supervision of any project staff, coordination of evaluation activities, oversight of data collection and analyses and development of reports and other products.
- Develops, implements, tracks project timelines
- Develops presentations and other products
- Manages data collection (quantitative & qualitative) content development and site maintenance
- Communication / dissemination of project findings, prepares summaries, present at scientific conferences, participates in preparation of manuscripts
- Prepares progress and final reports for funding agencies
- Manages budgetary expenditures in cooperation with the PI
- Supervises project staff – oversees work of student and staff research assistants
- Assists in grant development and related activities
- Coordinates research partner inputs
- Supports the development of various grant components
- Travels out of state one to two times per year.
- Performs other as assigned.

More About This Job
Required Qualifications
- Thorough understanding of advanced epidemiologic methods, including in causal inference, inverse probability weighting, and multi-stage sampling approaches
- Mid-to-advanced-level data analysis skills in R or SAS.
- Experience in longitudinal quantitative analyses using routinely collected health record data or clinical trial data.
- Experience preparing academic manuscripts for dissemination in high-impact public and global health journals
- Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising others
- Experience engaging diverse stakeholders across the research continuum from ideation to dissemination.

- Interest in global and domestic behavioral health and chronic disease research.
