This role is responsible for managing and supporting projects related to researcher development, including undertaking background research and environmental scans, and organising the logistics of training workshops. Understanding current and emerging trends in researcher development, nationally and globally, and an awareness of research funding will contribute to success in this role, as will strong project management and administrative skills. This role also offers opportunities to apply stakeholder engagement, training, and advisory skills in its day-to-day activities.

About You

Ideally, you will have worked in senior-level research administration roles or project roles.  You are able to apply that contextual understanding to the management and delivery of projects that will assist our Faculty’s success in research. Your collaborative working style enables you to develop strong working relationships across functional areas and work effectively with a broad cross-section of other professional staff to deliver positive outcomes in a timely way.

You enjoy working with academics and researchers at all seniority levels and across diverse disciplines to help them foster their research. You will enjoy the challenges and opportunities of working in a growing faculty to implement research strategy and initiatives and to support and build research enablers and researcher capabilities, all within an evolving university and higher education environment.
