Offer Description
Applications are open for 1 Research Studentship, within the framework of project/R&D Growth or SPINE 1801P.01248.1 | CERIS, financed by european funds (H2020).
Workplan: Develop and carry out research tasks focused on the main topics of the project, related to:
- Preparing databases to support the construction of a transportation model related to the Barreiro living lab;
- Developing collaborative research with other members of the project team;
- Preparing scientific publications and presentations;
- Contributing to project management activities under the supervision of the Principal Investigator
Duration: The research fellowship will have the duration of 7 months. It’s expected to begin in September/2026, and may be eventually renewed until the end of the project.

Benefits
Monthly maintenance allowance: the amount of the monthly maintenance allowance is € 1090,98, being the payment method an option of the Fellow by Wire Transfer/Check.

Selection process
Selection methods: The selection methods will be the following:
Curriculum evaluation where the candidate should demonstrate experience in research. Evidence of published research in the scientific areas of the call and/or the project will be considered also. The candidates selected for the interview will be the ones with the highest score in the curricular evaluation, with the respective weight of 70% curricular evaluation and 30% interview
Composition of the selection Jury: Prof. João de Abreu e Silva, Prof. Paulo Teixeira, Profª Ana Paula Falcão
Announcement/ notification of the results: The final evaluation results will be communicated to all applicants by email.
Deadlines and procedures of complaint and appeal. After notification of the provisional list of evaluation results, candidates have a period of 10 working days to, if they wish, make a statement at a preliminary hearing of interested parties, in accordance with Articles 121 et seq. of the Code of Administrative Procedure. The final decision will be made after analyzing the statements presented at the preliminary hearing of interested parties. The final decision may be appealed to the competition jury or to the President of IST-ID within 15 working days of notification.
