Position Summary:
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Research Support Assoc. within the Biomaterials Laboratory in the Department of Restorative at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (RSDM).
This position is FULLY GRANT FUNDED TEMPORARY FOR 9 MONTHS, with the potential for renewal depending on funding.
The ideal candidate for the Research Support Assoc. position should possess a strong problem-solving mindset, excellent management skills, and the ability to leverage AI and large language models (LLMs) to address research challenges and project objectives.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Assists in managing ongoing projects and ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
- Identifies and resolves problems by utilizing AI tools, LLMs, and other innovative technologies.
- Collaborates with team members to ensure project goals align with lab objectives.
- Analyzes and documents project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Contributes to scientific research and experimentation as needed.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
