The Research Technician I role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to a high-impact, ARPA-H-funded research initiative focused on advancing solutions for osteoarthritis.
Given the project’s time-sensitive milestones, this position plays a critical role in accelerating experimental progress, from animal behavioral testing to tissue analysis and support for drug development using nanomaterials.
We are looking for temporary full-time assistance for 3 to 6 months.
This position is 100% research/grant funded.
Minimum Requirements
- Work requires an Associate degree in botany, biology, zoology, psychology, or another science-related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Animal handling
- Von Frey measurements and/or Dynamic Weight Bearing
- Chemical Synthesis
- Quality Control and/or Microtome Usage
The Role Will Focus On
- Animal behavioral testing
- Tissue harvesting
- Support for the production and quality control of drug treatments using nanomaterials
- Histology (paraffin sectioning and staining)
