Position Highlights
The researcher will be involved in the analysis of existing field data on cooperation and well-being, help in the design and development of new in-person and on-line studies, and conduct fieldwork in Northern Nicaragua. The researcher will also collaborate on ongoing projects, gain mentorship, and professional development. Strong skills in statistics (e.g., SEM, multi-level models, longitudinal data, social networks), and data visualization. Knowledgeable in the science of cooperation/prosocial behavior, the evolutionary human sciences, and/or affective science. This job requires that the researcher conducts fieldwork in the Bosawas biosphere reserve of Northern Nicaragua during two field visits, each lasting from 1-3 months. This is a remote area with little-to-no Internet access, no basic services (e.g., water, sewage, trash, electricity, etc).

Duties & Responsibilities
- Analysis of existing field data
- Designing and conducting new on-line and in-person studies
- Disseminations of findings through presentations and publications
- Designing and conducting fieldwork in Northern Nicaragua
- Collaboration with other researchers including faculty and graduate students on ongoing projects
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Fluent in Spanish (both written and spoken)
