About The Role
Residence Life CoordinatorWe are seeking a new Residence Life Coordinator as part of the University’s welfare service for students, working Monday to Friday. This full-time post is available immediately on a permanent basis. This is a rewarding role with lots of variety. The start date will be agreed with the successful candidate to suit their availability.

Summary of the role
The Residence Life Coordinator will provide support and guidance to the team of student Residence Life Mentors, forming part of the University’s Wellbeing Service. The Residence Life Team is responsible for promoting a positive student living experience within university residences to include the pastoral, behavioural and welfare care of approx. 6,900 students in both University and nominated third party student accommodation. The accommodation is made up of a combination of catered and self-catered halls located both on and off the University's two Exeter campuses.
This varied role will involve supporting the Residence Life Officers to support our students in their accommodation. Creating and delivering a programme of events designed to build community on our campuses and promoting events and wellbeing messaging on social media.
We are looking for a compassionate, committed and resilient individual who have the required experience and skills to join this busy team. The successful applicant will have an understanding of the student experience and issues related to student residences and will be able to work flexibly both as part of a team and independently. You will be able to balance the demands of a varied workload including both reactive and planned elements. You will ideally have excellent organisational and communication skills.
