Respiratory Clinical Lead - NICU

Scope of Position

The respiratory therapist team leader will help assure the appropriateness, quality, and consistency of all aspects of respiratory care. The team leader will act as the Respiratory Therapy (RT) clinical liaison to physicians, nurses and other health care providers. This position will provide all types of diagnostic and therapeutic Respiratory Therapy procedures, in accordance with hospital and department policies, under the direction of a licensed physician. The Respiratory Therapy Department works under the medical direction of the Medical Director of Respiratory Therapy, or his/her/their designee.

Position Summary

Provides clinical leadership, and helps ensure quality and appropriateness of respiratory care.

Minimum Qualifications

For Hire:Bachelor’s Degree required. Successful completion of RRT examination offered by the National Board for Respiratory Care required. Master’s degree preferred.
