The Department of Mathematics in the College of Arts and Sciences at The Ohio State University seeks applications to fill an associated faculty position at the rank of Retiree Faculty Emeritus. Teaches lectures and recitations in graduate classes as assigned; lead lab or discussion groups in a course setting; proctor exams; attend all lectures related to assigned course; hold office hours; tutor students; attend weekly meetings; prepare and grade classroom work; participate in ongoing professional development; may participate in curriculum development and conduct research.

Performance Objectives:

• Teaches lectures and recitations in graduate/undergraduate classes as assigned
• Lead lab or discussion groups in a course setting
• Proctor exams
• Attend all lectures related to assigned course
• Hold office hours
• Tutor students
• Attend weekly meetings
• Prepare and grade classroom work
• Participate in ongoing professional development (may participate in curriculum development and conduct research)

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Required: PhD in Mathematics; Mathematics honors courses teaching experience
• Desired: Extensive teaching experience in mathematics in higher education
