***REVISED*** Postdoctoral Research Associate
The Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics at Princeton University was established to create innovative research and teaching programs at the interface of modern biology and the more quantitative sciences. We seek applicants for postdoctoral or more senior research positions to join any of the several interdisciplinary research groups in our Institute. The term of appointment is based on rank. Positions at the postdoctoral rank are for one year with the possibility of renewal pending satisfactory performance and continued funding; those hired at more senior ranks may have multi-year appointments.
These positions are subject to the University's background check policy. The work location for this position is in-person on campus at Princeton University.
These positions are not eligible for sponsorship of an H-1B visa requiring consular processing; other visa sponsorships (including H-1B visas not requiring consular processing) may be available, as appropriate.
Qualifications
Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent is required.
Applicants should have training and a significant track record in one of the following areas:
- developmental biology
- experimental and/or theoretical biophysics
- experimental and/or computational genomics
- computer science, statistics, and/or machine learning with applications relevant to genomics
- bioinformatics
- population genetics / genomics
- evolutionary biology
- ecological genetics
- metabolomics
- proteomics
- cell signaling
- bacterial/yeast/animal cell molecular biology and genetics
