Scheduling and Systems Specialist at LC State Hands You Real Ownership of the Timetable

Apply now if you already run the systems that keep registration on track

Lewis-Clark State College Job opportunities on AcademicJobs.com

You spot a Scheduling and Systems Specialist opening at LC State and wonder whether it fits your next move. It does if you like owning the college timetable from start to finish.

The role pays $49,743 and puts you in charge of CourseLeaf CLSS, 25Live, and the full cycle of class scheduling. You build the schedule, fix the glitches, and keep registration running on time.

Most candidates waste weeks polishing a generic resume that never mentions actual scheduling software. Skip that mistake. List every system you have touched and the exact problems you solved with it.

LC State needs someone who can troubleshoot when the system refuses to load a section or when two classes overlap. Show you have done that before.

Lewis-Clark State College Jobs on AcademicJobs.com

Here is how to prepare your materials in one focused afternoon.

  1. Pull your last three scheduling projects and write one bullet each on the outcome: seats filled, conflicts avoided, or time saved.
  2. Match those bullets to the exact duties in the LC State posting.
  3. Send the application before Friday so it lands while the committee is still fresh.

Strong applicants treat the cover letter as a short project plan. One paragraph on how you would run the first schedule build. One paragraph on how you would train new users on the system. Done.

Colleges run on these systems every term. When the specialist does the job well, students get the classes they need and faculty avoid last-minute room changes. When the specialist struggles, registration turns into a scramble.

You already know the tools from similar roles at other institutions. The LC State version simply scales that work to a full college calendar.

Lewis-Clark State College Jobs on www.AcademicJobs.com

Apply directly through the link on academicjobs.com. The posting stays live for a short window, and the first complete applications usually move fastest.

Update your LinkedIn headline to include the exact title before you hit submit. Recruiters and committees search that phrase.

One practical step this week: open the LC State job description, copy the three software names into a new document, and write one sentence under each about your experience with it. That single page becomes the core of your application.
