RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administer institutional, athletic, federal, state, and external scholarship programs. 
• Interpret and apply federal, state, NCAA, and institutional regulations related to scholarship and financial aid programs.
• Review student eligibility and process scholarship awards and adjustments. 
• Monitor scholarship programs to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and university policies. 
• Generate reports, maintain records, and support compliance monitoring and award processing activities. 
• Utilize information systems and technological resources to manage scholarship programs and related data. 
• Counsel students and families regarding scholarship opportunities, FAFSA completion, financial aid processes, and available funding resources. 
• Present financial aid and scholarship information at on-campus and off-campus events. 
• Collaborate with Admissions, Athletics, the Cashier's Office, and other campus partners to support student success and enrollment initiatives. 
• Assist with process improvement efforts, policy development, and staff training related to scholarship administration. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

A successful candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field. Four years of professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience administering financial aid programs.
• Experience using Ellucian Banner or a similar student information system.
• Knowledge of federal financial aid regulations and scholarship administration.
