Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Scholarships Specialist to join Student Engagement, Administrative Division.
The Scholarships Specialist has responsibility for the assessment and administration of centrally administered scholarships. In addition, the Scholarships Specialist supports students through the maintenance of systems and resources, answering enquiries and participating in marketing and recruitment events.

Student Administration makes a key contribution to the delivery of student services that span the student lifecycle: admission, enrolment, billing and invoicing, timetable management and class registration, examinations, results, records management, progression and graduation. The department supports international, domestic and research higher degree students, in collaboration with specialist service partners across the university.
What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to a degree in a relevant area in conjunction with subsequent relevant experience.
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills that will enable effective communication with students and staff from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding or capacity to quickly acquire knowledge of scholarship policies procedures and systems.
- Evidence of high-level organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated administrative skills, including high attention to detail, accurate record keeping and computer literacy skills.
