Salary: £25,138 to £28,759 (Full time, indefinite)
plus an additional market supplement of £3000 pa annum – reviewable every 2 years.

The Job
We are looking to appoint a BMS Controls Technical Assistant to join our Facilities Estate
Operations team and contribute to our drive to maximise energy efficiency and carbon reduction
initiatives as part of the University Climate Emergency commitment. Reporting to the Building Management System (BMS) Technician, you will join a small but dedicated team to ensure efficient, safe and reliable controls are operational across numerous building engineering plant and equipment.
Responsibilities will also include control system fault finding, modifications and liaison with end users and third-party system stakeholders. You will also provide absence cover for the BMS Technician as required.
Training in-role is provided, however you will currently have the ability safely work on electrical
controls, with a recognised electrical qualification to City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3, ONC or Higher
National Certificate level or recognised equivalent.
