As the School Operations Officer at SAFES (School of Agriculture, Food and Ecosystem Sciences), based at the Dookie Farm campus, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the operational needs of the campus. You'll manage a diverse range of administrative tasks, from financial processing to event coordination, whilst fostering strong relationships with staff, students, and visitors. This role offers you the opportunity to contribute significantly to the school’s efficiency and create a welcoming campus environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Campus Operations: Oversee financial transactions, maintain records management systems, and support the employee lifecycle.
- Coordinate Events and Stakeholder Engagement: Plan and execute School events and build relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide Committee and Asset Support: Offer high-level secretariat support to School committees and manage physical assets and facilities.
- Ensure Safety and Compliance: Contribute to maintaining a safe workplace by supporting local safety-related administrative activities.
You may be a great fit if: You will be a highly organised professional with excellent administrative skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to manage diverse tasks whilst maintaining strong stakeholder relationships in a dynamic campus environment.
You may also: Possess strong financial acumen and experience in processing transactions and maintaining records. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders. Have experience in event planning and coordination. Show proficiency in providing high-level administrative support, including committee work. Be adaptable and able to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment.
