"Security Support Position"

Provide support for the security team by providing public safety information, assisting in emergency response, monitoring security cameras and reporting any suspicious activity

JOB DUTIES

• Assist staff, faculty, and students with security related issues.
• Maintain security log of daily observations and produce security reports as needed.
• Monitor security cameras and perform searches of recorded footage as needed.
• Maintain lost and found
• Assist in emergency response (contact appropriate personnel or obtaining emergency equipment.)
• Assist in locking/unlocking rooms as needed.
• Issue parking violations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a clear understanding of the English language and have both verbal and written skills in order to effectively communicate.
• Must have good customer service skills.
• Previous security experience preferred but not required.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Must have completed FAFSA on file
• Must be enrolled in a minimum six (6) credit hours
• Must NOT have yet obtained 1st Bachelor's Degree
• Must be seeking an eligible program of study
