About the team

UWA is making significant investments in the Information and Technology Services to enable its strategic direction and goals. UWA is also looking to utilise technology advancements to expand its services and create new and innovative teaching and research models.

About the opportunity

You will be responsible for analysing business needs and providing an interface between Uni IT and UWA business units. You will work closely with Uni IT and business stakeholders to define business needs and requirements aligned to the IT Strategy. Through your acquired knowledge you will be responsible for influencing / enhancing business decisions, strategy and outcomes. Additionally, you will independently leverage relevant frameworks, expertise, and judgment to respond to complex and diverse enquiries, ensuring efficient solution delivery.

About you 

To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate:

• Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency.
• Substantial experience in providing analytical support for education and research activities, business planning, evaluations and modelling to guide decisions on strategy, planning and projects.
• Substantial experience in providing analytical support for portfolio oversight, prioritisation, and benefits realisation as well as vendor engagement and selection.
• Relevant experience in developing and maintaining methods and frameworks, with a commitment to provide a high level of quality customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to research and analyse current and future trends, to support the delivery of IT strategy and business objectives.

 Note: Occasional after-hours work may be required.
