Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
We are seeking a strong business process / functional senior business analyst to join our Business Enablement team. This role is pivotal in driving Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives across key IT service management platforms and processes to deliver business outcomes that enhance service delivery and user experience.
You will focus on:
Building strong, effective relationships with stakeholders across the University
Facilitating workshops, meetings, and stakeholder engagement sessions
Gather, document, and validate business requirements for service management enhancements and service experience
Translating business needs into clear, deliverable user stories and backlog items
Support testing, implementation, and adoption of new processes and features.
You will work closely with stakeholders to analyse business needs, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver solutions that enhance service delivery and user experience.
Mōu | Who You Are
You are an experienced business analyst who thrives in complex environments and enjoys leading through influence.
You will bring:
At least 10 years' experience in a business analyst commercial or private sector IT environment
A bachelor’s degree (NZQA Level 7) in IT, computer science, software engineering, or a related field
Strong experience in requirement gathering, gap analysis, data modelling and analysis, system/process analysis and user journey mapping
Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale digital solutions
A solid understanding of IT Service Management frameworks (ITIL) and agile methodologies
Experience actively leading, coaching and mentoring other BA’s, including intern/graduates
