Department: The office of Central Development within the Division of University Advancement is dedicated to increasing community, tradition, and contributions to the University by working together with the campus community. A strong foundation of supporters is essential to enhancing academic innovation, empowering students, transforming campus structures, and enriching the community. We seek an exceptional individual to join our team as the Senior Director, Advancement Services and Operations (Administrator II). The ideal candidate in this role should have a positive attitude, an active, energetic mind, and a leadership style that is characterized by highly ethical practices and a commitment to inclusivity, openness, flexibility, integrity, and kindness.

Salary Range: $10,300 - $12,300 per month

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; occasional early morning, evening and/or weekend hours.

Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Four to five years of direct experience working in administration of fundraising, sales, or database environment with supervisory management experience. Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting and ability to understand the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Reporting Standards, Internal Revenue Services (IRS) Regulations and other governing policies and procedures at the local, state, and federal levels as it pertains to fundraising and philanthropic activities. The ability to manage staff at a high level and direct projects and operations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited college or university. A fundamental understanding of fundraising is preferred to perform the duties of the position. Specific experience with a fundraising database/Customer Relationship Management (CRM) such as Blackbaud RE/NXT is desired. High skill level in computer programs including Excel, Word, Access, and project management software use and management is preferred.

Special Working Conditions:
Must be able to work at annual commencement ceremonies. Ability to travel to off-campus locations for events, programs, meetings, and other activities as directed by the supervisor.
