Senior Enrollment Services Clerk
The Senior Enrollment Services clerk is primarily responsible to service the students/parents who visit the office with billing and registration inquiries. Respond to all general inbound emails and phone calls as a result of general electronic announcements including continuous eBills. Interacts daily with academic advisors and deans to resolve registration matters. This position also serves as a back-up to the Lead Account Clerk position, and performs the duties of the Enrollment Services Clerk.
Required Qualifications:
- Three years of experience in office clerical work, preferably including accounting and bookkeeping functions.
- A minimum of two years of experience as an Enrollment Services Clerk or similar experience, preferably at a college or university, which demonstrates an understanding of the functions of a Registrar or Bursar’s Office.
- Strong math and computation skills.
- Proficiency utilizing computer systems for data management, word processing and other applications. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required. Familiarity with Colleague a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow explicit instructions due to the nature of the responsibilities to comply with Federal and State regulations.
- Must be available to work overtime and non-standard hours as required, i.e., evenings, weekends, during peak periods throughout the year.
- Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
