Job Description
The successful candidate will provide technical and administrative support for facility management and maintenance works at NUS, with the following key responsibilities:
- Complaint & Query Management: Attend to and follow up on complaints lodged by users via FMS/CMMS, iReport, the Maintenance Hotline, and email.
- Stakeholder & Facility Coordination: Coordinate with stakeholders and contractors to manage campus facility operations, including site inspections, meetings, building Fire Certification, maintenance shutdowns, and events.
- Contractor Supervision & Quality Assurance: Supervise and monitor contractors to ensure works are carried out in accordance with specifications, schedules are strictly adhered to, and workmanship meets required standards.
- Contract Preparation & Procurement Support: Prepare contract documents for term contracts, facility renewal works, and renovation projects, and provide support for the procurement of other services.
- Operational Planning & Execution: Assist in the planning and day-to-day management of operations as assigned by the Reporting Manager.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Relevant Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or Estate Management.
Years of Experience
- Up to 5 years of experience in Facilities Management or a related field.
Knowledge & Skills (preferred)
- Green Mark Accredited Professional (Facilities Management) or equivalent certification
- Certified Fire Safety Manager or equivalent
- Certified Project Manager or equivalent
- Certified Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) professional or equivalent
- Knowledge of Building Services and M&E Systems
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and/or Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Proficient in MS Office applications
