Senior Facilities Officers
About This Opportunity
We are seeking two Senior Facilities Officers to support the Faculty of Science’s diverse, high-impact teaching and research environments. As part of a collaborative and service-driven facilities team, you will work closely with staff and stakeholders to ensure laboratories, learning spaces and academic workplaces operate safely, efficiently and sustainably.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Proactively identifying, coordinating and monitoring facilities maintenance, repairs and minor projects, ensuring works are logged, communicated and completed in a timely manner
- Supporting infrastructure projects through contributions to planning, design reviews, contractor coordination and defect management
- Managing space allocation, access control, keys and security arrangements in line with University and Faculty guidelines
- Maintaining accurate records and systems relating to assets, space, equipment and facilities operations, while providing responsive customer service to a diverse range of stakeholders
About You
You will bring a practical, solutions-focused approach to facilities and infrastructure support, combined with strong communication and organisational skills.
