About the Role

The finance team is within the Office of the CIO with a dotted line into Central Finance. This position involves managing significant change, including commercializing service provision and a £100m digital transformation programme. Responsibilities include Project Finance for a project portfolio, I&E for a directorate, and oversight through one direct report.

About You

• A recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA, ACA) with strong accounting knowledge
• Extensive experience in a large accounting environment, including management accounting, pricing, planning, reporting, and business partnering
• Ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial staff
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders
• Highly organised with strong coordination skills
• Commitment to accuracy
