Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the School of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences, where you will play a vital role in shaping the future of health sciences education.

You will contribute to: teaching, postgraduate thesis supervision, supporting the School's administrative functions, engaging in original research and scholarship. The role also includes involvement in professional, community, and iwi service activities relevant to your discipline. As part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, you'll help deliver impactful learning experiences while advancing your own academic career.

Salary will be in the range of $110,392 - $144,817 per year based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours a week), based on our Hillcrest Campus.

Ko wai koe? - Who are you?

You hold a PhD, or equivalent qualification, in a biomedical sciences discipline. There is a preference for those with teaching expertise in digital anatomy tools and/or research experience in computational biomedical sciences e.g. bioinformatics, drug screening/optimisation.

You have a strong track record in undergraduate teaching, including large lectures and small-group learning, and are committed to innovative, interdisciplinary approaches - whether through distance delivery, clinical settings, or team teaching. Your research profile includes high-quality publications and national and international recognition.

You:
