- Full-time appointment on a tenurable basis.
- Base salary range: Level C, $144,143 – $165,809p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

About the opportunity
- Deliver high‑quality teaching in Economics, including curriculum development and supervision of Honours, Master’s, and PhD students.
- Produce internationally impactful research, building research networks, publishing in top‑tier journals, and pursuing competitive funding from national and international sources.
- Contribute to leadership and service, supporting School and University governance, strategic initiatives, and external engagement with industry, government, and community partners.
About you
- PhD in Economics or related field.
- Publications in top-ranked international peer-reviewed economic or related field journals.
- Undertake forefront economics research.
- Evidence of excellent teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate units.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students' research projects.
- Contribute collaboratively to academic governance and department administrative matters.
