"Senior Lecturer in Pediatrics"

VinUniversity is seeking a collegial, collaborative, outstanding medical educator for the role of (Senior) Lecturer in Pediatrics, focusing on clinical teaching and development of the Pediatric Residency Program at the College of Health Sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching - Clinical (70%): Supervise residents’ didactic activities, contribute to residents’ assessment (including teaching rounds), and provide clinical work in the pediatric clinic.
• Research (20%): Develop research opportunities, including curricular and extra-curricular research for residents.
• Service (10%): Assist with admission, service to the university, profession, and community.

Work closely with the Program Director of Pediatrics Residency and other educational leaders on curriculum development, implementation, and quality assurance. Provide leadership in teaching and learning practices, such as competency-based medical education and student-centered learning. Contribute to clinical work and teaching at the Ocean Park Clinic.

Key Selection Criteria:

• MD degree with current certification in Pediatrics or equivalent qualifications acceptable to the ACGME-I Review Committee.
• Current medical licensure and eligibility to practice in Vietnam.
• Strong track record in graduate medical education program development and implementation, preferably with US standards (e.g., ACGME/ACGME-I).
• Experience in health care education pedagogy and clinical teaching.
• Native Vietnamese language proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills in academic settings.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary and collaborative educational teams.
