The Squire Law Library is seeking to appoint an individual to the role of 'Senior Library Assistant (Law) - Teaching and Learning Support' who is highly motivated, enthusiastic and customer-focused. This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team and to play an important part in the operation of one of the largest libraries in the University of Cambridge and one of the leading academic law libraries in the UK. Other aspects of the role are listed in the Further Particulars.

The Squire Law Library is one of the Humanities and Social Sciences Libraries and is a part of the wider network that is known as Cambridge University Libraries (CUL). Training in legal information provision will be provided but there is also the opportunity for professional development within CUL.

You should have excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills and will have had experience of working successfully as part of a team. You should also have proven experience of providing customer services. An ability to work under pressure, unsupervised, with an eye for detail and with a friendly and flexible approach are all qualities that are important for this role.
