"Senior Program Coordinator"

Position Summary

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator for RHS Counseling & Psych Services.

Among the key duties of the position are the following:

• Provides confidential, executive-level support and program coordination to the Director of CAPS and assistance to CAPS Leadership team.
• Coordinates all onboarding and off boarding staffing activities for CAPS staff and Doctoral Interns.
• Oversees completion of initial application and maintenance of clinical privileging documentation for all CAPS clinical staff.
• Acts as departmental liaison with internal and external departments, including Human Resources, Information Technology, and Marketing, Facilities, Payroll and other campus partners to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensures compliance with and distribution of University and CAPS policies to all staff, maintains records of staff, meetings and archives of CAPS data.
• Provides overall coordination and oversight for activities and budgets related to purchases and professional development for all CAPS staff.

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least two (2) years of relevant experience in a program coordination or administrative function that includes coordination of work; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Equipment Utilized

Competency with common business software (e.g., Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Publisher).
Ability to work with electronic health scheduling software (e.g., Medicat).

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Ability to travel on occasion to various Rutgers-New Brunswick locations.
Light lifting.
