Organization Profile: National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur, earlier known as Regional Institute of Technology was established on 15th August 1960 as a joint venture of Government of India and the Government of Bihar in the chain of REC’s (Regional Engineering College) in India with the aim to generate technical graduates of highest standards who could provide technological leadership to the region. It was among the first eight Regional Engineering Colleges (RECs) established as part of the Second Five-Year Plan (1956 – 1961).

Research Position: Senior Project Associate

Department: Electronics and Communication Engineering

Title of the project: Design and Development of SoC for Industry 4.0 with Functional safety and Security

Essential Qualification: Ph.D in VLSI design or related discipline / M. Tech having 3 years of experience in VLSI design, EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys and Mentor Graphics), RTL coding, physical design with research paper.

Project Duration: 01 year or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier? Initial appointment will be for one year, extendable upto 1 year subjected to satisfactory performance of the Senior Project Associate and extension of the project

Fellowship: INR 54,000 per month (10% increment each year subject to satisfactory performance)
