Senior Research Analyst
Job Description
The Senior Research Analyst is responsible for the full spectrum of data analysis activities, including developing research methodologies, implementing appropriate statistical techniques, validating and migrating data across systems, managing multiple concurrent projects, and ensuring accurate data processing and reporting to state and federal agencies. This position reports directly to the Director of Institutional Research.
This is an exempt position requiring 37.5 hours per week on-site at the Pensacola campus. The incumbent may be required to perform work outside the normal schedule, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from an institution that holds accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and approved by the College with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Data Science, Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, is required. Successful completion of a criminal background check is mandatory.
Pursuant to College policy, meeting the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, regarding background investigations is a mandatory condition of employment eligibility. Candidates who fail to meet these statutory requirements will be deemed ineligible for employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on all successful candidates as a condition of employment. Any applicant who fails to disclose adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of application submission will be disqualified from employment.
Candidates must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from an institution that holds accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and approved by the College with a master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline. Two years of experience in quantitative or qualitative research, data collection, statistical analysis, reporting, and/or analysis of large longitudinal datasets. Familiarity with a variety of data analytics tools, project management methodologies, and statistical software packages such as SAS, with a strong understanding of advanced analytical and reporting functions (e.g., Proc SQL, Proc GLM, and Proc REPORT). Experience with Workday ERP systems for data extraction and reporting. Experience with organizational, state, and federal data reporting and validation processes, as well as proficiency with Tableau dashboard software.
SALARY RANGE:
$52,000.00 - $60,000.00
