The Faculty of Chemistry and Technology, University of Split invites applications for the following position: Senior Research Assistant – Chemical Engineering
One (1) Senior Research Assistant (m/f) will be appointed to a research associate position in the scientific field of Technical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, at the Department of Electrochemical Engineering and Thermodynamics, Faculty of Chemistry and Technology, University of Split.

- A copy of the diploma/certificate confirming the award of a doctoral degree (PhD).
- Proof of fulfilment of the Faculty's mandatory additional criterion: proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level, certified by an authorised institution. Candidates who fail to submit proof of fulfilment of this mandatory additional criterion will not be considered applicants in the recruitment procedure.
- Where applicable, a summary/presentation of scientific, teaching and/or professional activities, a list of publications, publications themselves and/or reprints of publications relevant to the appointment.
- Where applicable, evidence of fulfilment of other criteria evaluated in the selection procedure for the position of Senior Research Assistant in accordance with the Rules on the Procedure, Conditions and Criteria for the Appointment to Research Associate Positions and the Appointment of Honorary Research Associates at the Faculty of Chemistry and Technology in Split.
- Where applicable, for candidates who obtained their qualification abroad, a decision on the recognition of the foreign educational qualification.
- Where applicable, for foreign nationals, proof of proficiency in the Croatian language at C2 level (advanced proficiency) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Specific Requirements
Candidates must meet the general requirements prescribed by the Labour Act (Official Gazette Nos. 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 151/22, 46/23 and 64/23), as well as the requirements prescribed by applicable legislation and the general acts of the Faculty, in particular the Regulation on Job Titles, Conditions for Assignment and Coefficients for Salary Calculation in Public Services, including its amendments, and the Rules on the Internal Organisation and Job Classification of the Faculty of Chemistry and Technology in Split, including its amendments, insofar as they apply to the respective position.

Selection process
Candidates of all genders are eligible to apply under equal conditions.
Candidates who meet the formal requirements of the vacancy announcement will be invited to an interview.
Candidates may also be required to undergo a written assessment of knowledge and skills relevant to the position and/or psychological testing.

All information concerning psychological testing will be published on the official website of the Faculty at least three (3) days before the testing.
Candidates will be notified by email of the date, time and location of the written assessment and psychological testing at the email address provided in their application.
Failure to attend the interview, psychological testing or written assessment, where applicable, will be considered a withdrawal of the application, and the person concerned will no longer be considered a candidate in the recruitment procedure.
