Senior Scientist, Computational Imaging and Data Analysis
The Sr Scientist works on problems of diverse scope in which analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Has a wide latitude for decision-making working in conjunction with the PI. Works closely with senior managers and directors on unit/lab issues. Manages the work efforts of at least one individual contributor, mentor's other lab members, and completes performance appraisals. Contributes broad knowledge of the field, strong leadership skills, technical proficiency, and scientific creativity. Works both collaboratively and independently.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrated success in technical proficiency, scientific creativity, collaboration with others and independent thought. Works on problems of diverse scope in which analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
- Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Works closely with senior managers and directors on unit/lab issues. Wide latitude for decision-making working in conjunction with the PI.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Broad knowledge of the field with strong leadership skills. Resolves issues and contributes to unit/lab development.
Minimum Job Qualifications
- Advanced degree preferred.
- 6+ years experience post education; One year management responsibility.
License/Certification/Registration Required:
None
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manages the work efforts of at least one individual contributors and mentors.
- Completes performance appraisals.

The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate’s relevant experience, skills and qualifications.
For union positions, the pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
$95,000.00 - $125,100.00
