The University of Bucharest is holding a competitive selection process to fill a vacant technician position (COR code 311102) as part of the project “Center of Excellence in Research for Promoting Climate Neutrality and Resilience through Agriculture (AgroCliN),” a project dedicated to the development and strengthening of the University of Bucharest’s centers of excellence.

Skills/Qualifications
- Knowledge of physicochemical analysis techniques (titrimetry, gravimetry, spectrophotometry, chromatography)
- Operation of UV-Vis and AAS laboratory instruments
- Knowledge of quality standards: ISO 17025, GMP
- Knowledge of laboratory safety rules and the handling of chemicals
- Calibration and verification of equipment
- Preparation of reagents and standard solutions
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in the field relevant to the position.
Specific Requirements
Experience:
- Performing physicochemical analyses: pH, conductivity, density, moisture content, melting point, flash point, titrations, gravimetric determinations, etc.
- Using laboratory equipment: analytical balances, pH meter, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, Karl Fischer analyzer, refractometer, viscometer
- Sample preparation: homogenization, dilutions, filtration, extractions, digestions
- Preparing and completing documentation: analysis reports, laboratory logs, internal forms
- Adhering to work procedures and ISO 17025 / GMP standards
- Monitoring and maintaining equipment: calibration, periodic checks, basic maintenance
- Handling hazardous chemicals in accordance with safety regulations
- Participating in method validations or interlaboratory comparisons
- Collecting environmental samples (water, soil, vegetation)
