Nga haepapa matua | Key Responsibilities
Working in a collaborative and diverse environment, you will engage with various disciplines, including biomechanics, strength and conditioning, exercise physiology, anthropometry and biochemistry. The role involves overseeing and maintaining specialised equipment, including treadmills, ergometers, metabolic carts, and motion capture systems.
Health and safety is a priority for this position, and you will ensure procedures are well managed and followed, record keeping is robust, equipment is regularly serviced, and supplies are maintained to guarantee safe and efficient operations.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Senior Technician to support our staff and students in delivering quality research, teaching activities, and ensuring efficient operation of our advanced laboratories and equipment. Your organisational skills, sharp eye for detail and ability to assist others will be pivotal to maintaining high standards in our research and service delivery.
Your excellent technical expertise and problem-solving abilities will be highly valued as you advise on equipment and software needs, troubleshoot technical issues, support the acquisition of new tools and systems, and ensure smooth operation of laboratory processes.
