Offer Description
IRIS-CC is a Private Foundation that governs, directs, and manages the Institute for Research and Innovation in Life and Health Sciences in Central Catalonia. It is the result of a strategic alliance among 17 academic, healthcare, and social institutions in Central Catalonia and its area of influence.
The mission of IRIS-CC is to generate scientific knowledge in life and health sciences, focused on addressing needs and improving people's quality of life, while creating an innovative ecosystem that promotes regional development and provides the products and services demanded by society.
In August 2024, the Foundation Institute for Research and Innovation in Life and Health Sciences in Central Catalonia (IRIS-CC) was awarded the "HR Excellence in Research" recognition by the European Commission. The Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) is based on the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. The implementation of HRS4R represents a quality label demonstrating that a research institution’s human resources policies meet European standards.
Beyond the technical competencies required to join the IRIS-CC expert team, candidates are expected to possess a range of valuable transversal skills, including proactivity, versatility, strong communication skills, a high level of commitment and confidentiality, problem-solving abilities, a service-oriented mindset, organizational and management skills, emotional intelligence, among others.

Position
Temporary (12 months), Part-Time (8 hours per week) Senior Technician supporting the WE-MIND project within the Clinical Research Unit of the Foundation Institute for Research and Innovation in Life and Health Sciences in Central Catalonia (IRIS-CC).
Temporary contract linked to the project:
“WE-MIND: Advancing Mental Health and Innovation in Western Balkans Higher Education Through Digital Transformation” (Erasmus+ Project ER+25001).
Profile Sought
We are seeking an expert professional with a proven track record in entrepreneurship, project design, and consultancy.
Reporting Line
The successful candidate will report directly to the Principal Investigator of the research project (Dr. Salvador Simó) and will coordinate with the other members of the research team.
Main Responsibilities
The selected candidate will provide support for the project “WE-MIND: Advancing Mental Health and Innovation in Western Balkans Higher Education Through Digital Transformation” (Erasmus+ Project ER+25001) through the following activities:
- Supporting project development
- Creating project-related materials
- Participating in coordination meetings
- Coordinating project partners
- Preparing deliverables and working documents
- Supporting training activities within the project
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Psychology, Health Sciences, or a related field
- Master’s degree in Economics, Psychology, Health Sciences, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience in social and health innovation
- Experience in project monitoring and follow-up
- Advanced level of Catalan, Spanish, and English
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in consultancy
- Knowledge of public health
- Experience in financial management tasks within sectors such as research, knowledge transfer, healthcare, or related areas
- Specific training in project design and management
- Own vehicle
