Chapman University is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position. This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Salary offers are determined based on the final candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as internal equity and other internal factors. The anticipated pay range is not a promise of a particular wage.

Job Description Summary
The Senior Video Producer advances the university’s brand, reputation, and storytelling efforts through exceptional visual content creation. Working within Strategic Marketing and Communications, this position serves as an experienced individual contributor responsible for producing high-impact video content that supports enrollment, advancement, public relations, marketing, executive communications, and institutional storytelling initiatives.
The Senior Video Producer independently leads complex productions from concept through final delivery through advanced cinematography, editing, motion graphics, and visual storytelling. This role requires strong editorial judgment, the ability to shape compelling narratives from interview-driven content, and the technical expertise to execute full-scale productions.
The position is in-person, five days a week at Chapman University’s Orange campus and reports to the Associate Creative Director.
