Conditions of Employment
Being able and ready to work in-person with Chaffey students, Chaffey employees, or other members of the Chaffey community/Chaffey partners/Chaffey contractors is an essential function of this job.
Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to;
- Equipment checkout and return
- Setting up skill stations
- Equipment familiarization and cleaning
- Demonstrating various National Registry Skills
- Operating various technologies utilized in the program
- Preparing students for skills testing
- Participating in skills testing under the direction of the course instructor
- Equipment inventory
- Other related functions during a class session
- Submitting hours worked prior to the end of the month
Qualifications
- Active Paramedic License or higher-level EMS provider. (Preferred)
- Active EMT/Paramedic/Nurse License (Required)
- Current California Driver's License (Required)
- Current American Heart Association CPR Provider (Required)
- One (1) year field experience as an EMT, Paramedic or higher medical provider.
- Forty (40) hours or equivalent of teaching experience as a EMT FTO, Paramedic Preceptor, or formal classroom experience.
- Able to travel to the following campuses: Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, and Chino
All licensees and certifications must remain active and current while employed at Chaffey College
