SII Student Assistant
Position Summary
The position will support the Strategic Planning & Initiatives team within Marketing & Communications by assisting with project coordination, content tracking, reporting, meeting preparation, and workflow organization. This role provides hands-on experience in managing marketing projects from planning through execution while collaborating with internal stakeholders across communications, creative, and digital teams.

- Project coordination and tracking
Percentage of time: 45 - Reporting and documentation
Percentage of time: 20 - Planning support
Percentage of time: 15 - Meeting and workflow support
Percentage of time: 10 - Initiative tracking
Percentage of time: 10

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (or Google Workspace equivalents)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Interest in project management, marketing workflows, and cross-functional coordination
- Experience with or interest in project management tools such as Asana (preferred)
