Singletary Center Ticket Office Associate
Job Summary:
The Singletary Center for the Arts is seeking responsible and motivated students from all majors to join us in Summer 2026 and Fall 2026 as Ticket Office Associates! In this role, you’ll be expected to provide exceptional customer service over the phone and in person at the ticket office. Ticket Associates answer customer inquiries, resolve ticketing issues, process ticket sales via phone and walk-up orders, and are responsible for daily reconciliation of their ticket sales and payments. SCFA will provide all relevant training on venue protocols and how to work within the Etix ticketing system. Other assignments may include, but are not limited to, assisting with administrative or marketing tasks, troubleshooting of equipment issues, wayfinding/ushering, and general customer service duties.
Must be able/willing to work some weeknights and weekends as needed for events. Must have reliable method of transportation to and from campus. Be able/willing to perform other tasks assigned by the Marketing & Ticketing Director.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
Experience in a customer service position both in person and over the phone. Some experience handling cash and credit card transactions. Proficient ability with Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel). Applicants should be dependable, punctual, and possess effective communication and problem-solving skills, as well as strong attention to detail and reasoning. Must have a customer-friendly personality and project a positive image of the University and the College of Fine Arts to patrons, donors, staff, students, alumni, and other groups. Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements: Be able to sit/stand for long periods of time, be able to lift, push or pull objects up to 25 lbs.
Shift: Students can expect 5 to 10 working hours each week. SCFA Ticket Office business hours are Monday – Friday; 12 to 5PM. Office shifts vary from 1.5 hours up to 5 hours and are assigned based on ticket associates’ schedules/availability.
In addition to office shifts, ticket associates are REQUIRED to work a select number of event shifts on weeknights and weekends throughout the season. An event shift is typically 2 hours but may be longer based on event needs.
