Job Summary

Salt Lake Community College is seeking a dedicated Electronics & Automation faculty member with a commitment to excellence in teaching, professional activity, and service. Faculty members in our department are actively engaged in their professional communities, collaborate on curriculum development, and support students in acquiring essential skills and knowledge for academic and career success.

Under minimal supervision, the faculty will teach various college-level technical courses to community college students in the following programs: Automation Technology, Robotics Technology, Electronics Technology, and Electronics Assembly Technology.

Additionally, this position will support the college and department in maintaining and developing courses and programs that are in demand by related industries. The faculty must be available to teach as assigned at different campuses and days/times including the potential for evenings and weekends when necessary. The current schedule is Monday thru Thursday, 7am to 1pm or 3pm to 9pm. Most courses are taught in an open-lab setting without set lecture times.
