The Role
As the SNAP Trial Data Co-ordinator you will play a pivotal role in advancing high-impact clinical research. You’ll oversee the management, quality, and integrity of trial data across the full lifecycle for the SNAP trial, a large-scale global clinical trial.
Your expertise in data management will be critical in ensuring information is accurate, reliable, and fit for purpose, supporting robust analysis and protecting trial integrity. Working across both blinded and unblinded teams, you will help enable meaningful clinical insights that contribute to improved healthcare outcomes.
In this role you will:
- Lead the development and management of clinical trial data pipelines, ensuring data is accurate, validated and transformed into high-quality datasets ready for analysis and reporting.
- Partner with trial statisticians, analytical teams and global stakeholders to support interim and final analyses while maintaining trial blinding, integrity and data governance standards.
- Provide expert oversight of electronic data capture (EDC) systems, case report forms (CRFs) and data dictionaries, ensuring data collection processes are efficient, robust and aligned with trial objectives.
- Drive data quality and continuous improvement initiatives by identifying, investigating and resolving data integrity issues, developing data cleaning processes and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Support secure and compliant data sharing, reporting and documentation activities, applying expertise in privacy, confidentiality and clinical trial governance to enable high-quality research outcomes.
This Full time, 12-month fixed term opportunity will be based at the at the Hunter Medical Research Institute (Awabakal and Worimi land).
How will you inspire us?
You will have:
- Demonstrated experience in clinical trial data management, with a strong understanding of data quality, reliability, validity and trial data governance.
- Proficiency in statistical and data management software, including R, with the ability to manage and analyse complex clinical trial datasets.
- Sound knowledge of ethics, confidentiality, privacy and security requirements relating to clinical research data.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary trial teams, investigators and stakeholders across a global research environment.
- A proactive approach to learning and applying organisational policies, processes and best practice standards relevant to clinical trials and research management.
