Softball Student Manager - Federal Work Study
Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the Athletics department on the Dahlonega campus. Softball student manager assists coaches and student-athletes with the daily operations of the program. Key duties include organizing and maintaining equipment, supporting practices and games, and helping with travel and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist coaches with daily team operations, including practices, games, and meetings
- Organize, maintain, and distribute team equipment and uniforms
- Support game-day operations such as field setup, statistics, video, or dugout needs
- Help with travel logistics, including packing equipment and coordinating schedules
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Basic understanding of softball rules, terminology, and team operations
- Strong organizational, time-management skills with attention to detail, dependability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with coaches and student-athletes
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
Required Qualifications
- Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
