Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
In this pivotal role, you’ll be the guardian of software compliance, the orchestrator of license lifecycles, and the go-to expert for all things software across UC. From coordinating renewals to optimising usage, your work will ensure our digital tools are not only effective but also ethically and legally sound. Tasks will include:
Coordinating software requests and renewals across academic and non-academic areas.
Ensuring license compliance and managing risks related to software usage.
Maintaining accurate records and optimising license allocation.
Collaborating with vendors, Digital Services teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver seamless service.
Contributing to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across UC.
Mōu | Who You Are
You will have 4 -5 years’ experience in a customer service or service desk role with a strong understanding of software licensing and software asset lifecycle, as well as have:
Proficient knowledge of IT governance frameworks, cloud service offerings, and software asset management practices
Experience applying best practice IT frameworks, with a focus on continuous service improvement
A commitment to knowledge sharing and documentation, with the ability to capture and promote best practice to improve service outcomes across UC
A proactive and positive team member who works collaboratively and takes ownership of their contributions
A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, customer focused service
New Zealand Diploma in Information Technology Technical Support (Level 5) or equivalent industry experience
ITIL-certified desirable
CMBD or Software Asset Management training is an advantage.
