Special Appointment Assistant Professor, Writing

The Writing Program at Curry College in Milton, Massachusetts, invites applications for a special appointment assistant professor role to begin in Fall 2026. Special appointments are made for one year with the opportunity for a one year renewal. We seek candidates with strong teaching experience to help us build a writing program focused on student success and student empowerment. The teaching load is 4/3 with a teaching assignment that consists of courses that fulfill the first-year writing requirements of Curry College's general education program, as well as other courses in the writing program, as needed.

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess a PhD in Writing Studies or English with specializations and/or teaching experience in the following areas: writing pedagogy, cultural rhetoric, and writing program administration.
