Summary Assist students and others as they navigate the financial aid process, in-person, email and by phone. Provide verbal and written responses to questions about the application, processing, aid offers, and relevant policies. Review and process incoming documents. Work reports. Hours for this position are Monday- Thursday 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm and Friday's 10:00 am- 3:00pm at the Taylorsville Redwood Campus. Must have excellent work attendance and be consistently on time and reliable. Essential Duties & Responsibilities & Knowledge Skills & Abilities Excellent interpersonal skills, (customer service, written and oral communication.)Knowledge of general office procedures. Data input experience. Adaptable to frequent change, function well in high-stress environment. Knowledge of Banner, Etrieve, and Microsoft Suite preferred. Knowledge of Title IV Financial Aid and FAFSA application process preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College. Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic background of community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities. Minimum qualifications High School Diploma. Eight (8) - twelve (12) months or more of Customer Service experience. Basic Computer Skills are required Preferred Qualifications Experience and or knowledge of Financial Aid. Basic Computer Skills are required. Experience with Banner preferred.
