Current or eligible for PELSB (Department of Education license
as Speech-Language Pathologist)
Current Minnesota Department of Health license as
Speech-Language Pathologist or eligible, American Speech-Language
Hearing Certification of Clinical Competence and at least two years
of experience in applied setting.
A Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American
Speech-Language-Hearing Association and a minimum of nine months of
practice experience post-certification by 8/10/2026 are required
for this position.
Knowledge and experience in or willing to learn Due Process,
SPEDForms and electronic medical records
Ability to work with little direct supervision, within general
guidelines and State policies, in a flexible and adaptable manner,
handling multiple tasks and priorities.
Ability to or willingness to learn how to foster relationships
across marginalized communities to provide training that meets the
needs of diverse mental health workforce and community.
Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and
learning environment.
Preferred Qualification
- Demonstrated excellence in delivering speech-language pathology
services.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical instruction, supervision or
mentorship.

Eligibility includes being a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful
permanent resident, or a foreign national authorized to work in the
U.S. without the need for employer sponsorship. Employees must
maintain work authorization without sponsorship for the duration of
their appointment.

participating and completing all required safety trainings, as well
as performing all job tasks in accordance with Minnesota State

tools, equipment and personal protective equipment.

This position requires a valid, applicable driver's license, as
well as a DVS records check with an acceptable rating. Employees
must have an active, valid, and, applicable driver's license if
they drive a vehicle on state business. For further information,

This position requires a passing background check under Minnesota
Statutes 299C.60 to 299C.64 - Minnesota Child Protection Background
Check Act. It is expected that the employee maintains the ability
to pass applicable background check throughout employment. It is
the employee's responsibility to notify the supervisor no later
than the beginning of your next shift of any charges, allegations,
convictions that may impact their standing under the applicable
background check.

Yes - Up to 20 % of the time. Based on the essential functions of
this position, MMB Policy #1422, and University policies relating
to flexible work, this position is eligible for the following work

employee to perform work on a regular basis at a telework location
that is not the employee's permanent/principal work location.
