interpreting research and statistical data
Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, performance management,
leave, and other HR processes.
Review and coordinate personnel transactions for accuracy and
compliance. Identify discrepancies requiring corrective
action.
Provide initial consultation to employees, supervisors, and
managers regarding HR-related questions and determine appropriate
resolution or escalation; apply applicable University policies,
procedures, and collective bargaining agreement provisions
Develop and communicate HR-related guidance, information, and
procedural resources.
Coordinate and support the University's time and attendance
system implementation and ongoing operational needs.
This position is expected to work less than 20 hours
per week and thus is not considered a benefit-eligible
role.

Minimum Qualifications
- Associates degree and at least 2 years of related experience or
Bachelor's degree
- Experience administering time and attendance in a unionized
environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with Kronos or closely comparable time and
attendance software
- Experience working in human resources in a higher education
setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with University at Buffalo systems and
software (ie: ePTF, UB Jobs, SIRI, Kronos, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

$27.50 per hour
