Stipendee Postdoc

fun, inclusive, and creative academic research environment alongside graduate student trainees; and who want to help shape the research trajectory of a newly established lab in an exciting and growing field. Our work will be at the intersection of stem cell, developmental, and evolutionary biology, so we are particularly interested in candidates with a strong research background in: -Embryonic stem cells and/or the generation of iPS cells. -Embryo manipulation/ in vitro fertilization techniques. -Developmental neuroscience. -The biology of aging. -Preparation and analysis of next generation sequencing studies. -Biochemistry. Responsibilities: 1. Conduct research in in vitro or animal models of aging. 2. Publish and present research findings in high-quality scientific journals and conferences. 3. Regularly communicate findings with colleagues and lab members. 4. Collaborate with faculty, researchers, and students on interdisciplinary research projects. 5. Contribute to the preparation of research proposals. 6. Participate in mentoring activities for undergraduate and graduate students. 7. Apply, when appropriate, to independent funding opportunities. Basic Qualifications: 1. A Ph.D. in any relevant field 2. Demonstrated record of research achievement. 3. Excellent written and oral communication skills. 4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 5. Excellent organizational skills. Salary Range: 67,600—80,000 Pay offered to the selected candidate is dependent on factors such as years of experience, training or qualification, field of scholarship, and accomplishments in the field
